ALEX RUSS

Alex Russ​ is a NYC based actor who recently received a BFA in Acting from Syracuse University's Department of Drama.

Alex is originally from Roslyn, NY where he grew up with his older brother, younger sister, and his supportive and amazing parents.

When he was 9, he played Jojo in a community theater production of Seussical and he loved every second of it! His love for performing grew as he did...

At Syracuse University, Alex honed his skills as an actor and he is extremely grateful for the countless experiences and opportunities that shaped him into the artist he is today. On campus, he acted in several SU Drama productions; in London, he took acting classes and performed in a showcase at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre; in NYC, he participated in the Tepper Semester, where he began to experience the industry first hand and he started growing roots as a NYC-based actor.

In addition to performing, Alex loves reading and seeing new plays, writing, singing, watching movies and TV shows, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.
